FRIENDS...
tht reminds me Matthew Perry, Courtney Cox, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Met LeBlanc & Lesa Kudrow.. on screen Chandler, Monica, Ross, Rachel, Joey & Phoebe... as a group.. you cant imagine seein any1 of them away frm the group.. let it be a moment of joy, let it be an ounce of sorrow, they'll always be with each other 2 share every moment..

every1 together but not interruptin any1's life.. lettin every1 live their life in their own way.. bein wth each other.. fightin at times.. cryin/laughin together.. does such frndship really exist???


lookin at my own life immediate names those come up to mind are sri, mahesh, pras, milind... of course this list wont stop ever bt these few wth whom m stil vry much in contact.. n probaly these r d oldest 1's..

we all start thinkin abt our lives at college days as soon as we hear summer of 69 or may be purani jeans.. spending hrs together on audi staircase or cycle stand.. sharin every single thing wth each other... talkin endlessly on any god dam topic.. arguin on it.. pullin legs.. playin pranks.. n donno how many things were the part of our lives...

eventually all graduated.. all started workin.. got busy in our own life.. bt stil used 2 meet 1ce a while.. or may be dial up 2 say "hey"..

now every1 succeeded in respective fields.. sri got married, pras bought a car, milind also got married, mahesh's on the verge of success in his field.. at times find difficult 2 be so much in touch.. no 1 knows wht's kept in future n how much in contact we wld be.. bt each of us hav a faith tht a call wld be enough 2 get help of ne1 whn needed...

n unknowingly i ans myself.. yes such frndship really exists...

USA.. United States of America.. sounds like a giant n is a giant in front of other n number of countries.. NY.. New York.. a state having everything u can think of.. right from beaches.. rivers.. parks.. zoo's.. no man's land.. to metropolitan cities filled with n number of never ending shops.. uncountable stream of people.. New York city.. one of those later described part of NY.. a dream city of thousands of them.. it wouldn't be exaggeration if one says "i can go to any extend to be in this city"...

Variety of lights of colors that you must not have seen in ur life u'll find those here.. places like Timesquare shines like a sun whn whole state sleeps.. Wide variety of technological amusements... ranging from a huge Toys-r-us.. a toy shop.. to unthinkable instuments in discovery showroom.. u cant think of a robot doin all ur work.. a robot dog has taken place of ur pet.. a laser throwing clock wakin u up with a selfchosen song.. & such n number of things u'll find it here..

But... even though US has captured every height that a country can think of.. thr r situations whn people had to step bck n look at god for the help.. m not talkin abt the much talked WTC attack or a bomb threat given by some terrorist party.. bt an incident that happened in a day to day life..

I was on my way to office.. as usual with thoughts of work lined up in next few hours.. got down at 33rd n started walkin towards an exit.. suddenly i realized thr was a crowd standing at the door of the train on next track n people were shoutin at train driver to open up doors.. thought may be doors got closed before time so the shout...

Going further I saw a lady stuck-up between door of tht train.. her daughter.. around 10yrs of age standin on the platform with her brother.. barely a yr old.. in her hand & with tears in her eyes.. with her leg kept between those doors.. with an innocent expectation to keep it less hurtin for her mom..

There were 10-20 people surroundin them n few tryin their best to hold the door & open it up.. cops came.. showed signal to driver to open it up.. all doors got opened but this one.. cops made all people go away from the place... caught hold of that little girl.. n then with quite a few minutes of their efforts somehow that lady managed to go inside... Hushhh everyone was relieved...

But at that point everyone of them looked helpless.. how much ever a human move ahead with emerging technologies a point comes whn he cant do anything but to wait n watch...

A missing rib..

I read an article long bck called "a missing rib".. though its been long time readin this article it always remained somewhr bck of my mind..

whr in an author talks abt his childhood frnd, who becomes his girl frnd.. they carry this relationship for sometime & a time comes whn author tell his frnd that the thing that he's looking for is not in her.. n this relationship doesnt seem to workout..

That girl cries.. tries her level best to make him understand her feeling bt author doesnt care abt listenin 2 her n take his decision to brk up wth her.. she agrees n leaves him with a smile on her face n tells him.. "hope u'll find ur missing rib"...

There is a story behind this rib thing that when god created Adam.. he gave him everythin.. food.. water.. beautiful plc like earth 2 live.. bt he was all alone.. god thought he shld have some1 to give him company on the way of his life.. a day when Adam was sleepin god took out one of his rib n made a girl for him.. who was Adam's Eve..

So story of author continues.. after his frnd leaves him author stays wth many girls.. few relationships even go to the extend of marriage... bt somewhr or the other somethin goes wrong n author get out of it.. he doesnt keep any contact wth his frnd.. a day whn he's sittin all alone wth no1 in his life a letter comes sayin that his frn died.. he reads d letter.. thinks 4 a moment n reminds his whole life in a fraction of sec.. n he understands he just missed his rib...

A thought came to my mind if u knw tht some1 is really mad abt u.. is it not even worth givin a thought?? n tht too whn u r a close frnd of that person.. At times we think abt other things n other preferences n in tht thought process we miss out some1 who's dear to us..

Life doesnt give much chances.. once u lose sm1 u might not get him/her bck.. it's better 2 think 100 times than to lose some1 forever without a thought...

Experiance the Heaven..

At times we wonder how wld the heaven be.. I think I found it.. at the beneath of NIAGARA..


Long weekend plans started long back but nothin was gettin materialized.. A day before leavin we (cini, arpit, mary & i) decided on niagara.. tried for a bus but it was too late.. so happily opted for the option of car..


Started by 11am from boston.. For me it was a first long trip in US by car.. so was dam excited.. Mary n Arpit were gonna drive.. cini n i were kachha limbu :-).. though we tried our best 2 get hold of car in every parkin lot ;-) So journey started with all discussion on the way to reach there, songs, general talks etc.. at times stopped at service areas n got car n ourselves loaded.. Finally a point came from where we can see these building hiding behind a huge fog like thing.. that was the 1st glance of Niagara..


Checked-in into hotel which was vry close by d fall.. got freshen up n left 2 catch that beautiful view.. reached this plc called goat island.. a garden with this curved bridge.. a river flowing below it.. n hundreds of seagulls flyin by u.. u try ur best 2 capture them flyin but u wont get the perfect 1.. by the time we reached near niagara, it started gettin dark n all lights were focused on niagara.. trying to make it further beautiful with every ray of those red/yellow/white/blue lights.. captured every aspect of it in our cameras..




Left from there.. had dinner at a indian restaurant called Sardar Dhaba.. & again thought of going to other side of fall.. while going found a roadside singer singing Ghost movie's OST (oh my love, my darlin..).. with that waterfall sound in the background n chilly atmosphere, song sounded really romantic than it is.. From there we went to this point where there was no1.. n surprisingly no security at all.. even though it had only 1 railing over which u can bend over & see the amaizing view of fall going down deep into the river n gettin vanished in dark.. it was all dark in there n at times that view was giving a scary feeling to me.. dont know how but this idea popped up in cini n my head that this is the best plc 2 commit suicide..


day was a hectic.. slept finally by 1:30-2 but still decided to get up by 4:30 next day morning.. & to my surprise i could get myself out of the bed sharp on time with an intension to catch the view of niagara with the rising sun.. bt guess we were lil unfortunate that by the time we got ready, sun was already out.. still could capture few gud shots of mornin beauty..


came back.. chked out from hotel n caught a tour bus.. it took us to various places in buffalo city.. went to this point which was a kind of bridge called "pathway below the fall" that is built every year in a particular period.. it's jst next to waterfall n gives u feelin like u r takin whole fall over u.. those thousands of cold, speedy water drops hits u every moment.. u cant even look directly to that shiny fall.. an amaizin experience..

then roaming further for some more time n visitin few more places we finally reached the point that we were eager to experience all our trip.. its a boat (maid of mist) which takes u as close to the canadian side of fall as 1 can go.. right beneath the waterfall.. started from american side moving with those 100s of seagulls flyin parallel to the river n catchin fishes in a instance of a second.. as boat moved ahead it started giving that chilled breez of fall water.. which was gettin densed with every moment.. finally it reached to d point where there was extremely chilled wind & shower of equally chilled water with that loud sound of fall.. u cant hear anythin other than that.. u cant think of anythin else other the what u r seeing.. it cuts off every single connection of urs 2 d other world.. n let go urself lost u inside it.. a lifetime experience of niagara which I'd been hearin since ages, was in front of me.. guess this is d 1 what they call a heaven....
